![]() So if you're on the far left side aiming for a tank in the middle.but you are on higher ground you should do 100,80 or 100,81. If you are lower than the other tanks, adjust by more. General rule is if you are higher than the other tanks, adjust by less. You'll need to practice a bit to get the right numbers when you are on a level that has tanks higher or lower than you. (depending which side the tank is just off center) If you know the middle is 100,79, and the tank is just off center.then you know to make it 100,78 or 100,80. So you can easily count how many notches to move. You will see exactly the distance between each shot. If you sit in the firing range and sit on one of the far sides and shoot one after another moving towards you. It's 100,73 to hit in between the middle and the far edge. It's 100,79 to hit the middle of the screen. ![]() If you're on the far edge, it's 100,66 to hit the far other side. I just memorize the numbers at full power. This method is risky when playing with atmospheric nudge as it will alter a portion of your shots. It becomes harder to use when tanks are a bit farther away (like the 75 degree angle) but is often very accurate at closer ranges. After a bit a practice, you can employ this method in less than 3 seconds each shot. This is a method that most of the top players use to aim very quickly and accurately. As you can see, this shot will fall a bit short as the tank is closer to 3.75 away (75 angle). In my head, I guessed he was about 3.5 half circles away, which corresponds to a 76 degree angle. ![]() That means your angle will be 4+4+1/4*4 = 9 degrees away, or 81 angle In your head, imagine how many half-circles away the enemy tank is. That means if you shoot 86 degrees at max power, it will hit him. The enemy tank is the same distance as the half of the circle. Every half of these circles, when shot at max power, is a distance of 4 degrees. Notice the circle around your tank that your power bar slides around? This will be the basis for your distances. In a way, it is basically a ruler, but you are only using your brain. It can be done very quickly and effectively, so much so that often you will be accused of using a ruler. Personally I think people need to chill on the accusations, if somebody was in fact cheating don't say anything and just report them and I suppose that the developers of Shell Shock probably have some sort of system to detect it by now and punish the users using one, it's not the end of the world. Even if I was using a home-made ruler - so what if I did make one? I still did the guess-work before-hand at some point and would simply keep it as a visual reminder, so how would using a ruler even be against the rules? Hell I might as well go ahead and make a ruler because it'd probably be helpful, but whatever. If I get reported for using some sort of hack/ aimbot, I'll be salty for sure but the amount of times I've been accused of it so far has been both hilarious and stupid. If I'm gonna be accused of using some sort of cheat I might as well get one so that they can be correct, right? All I've been doing is nothing but guess-work and managing by the 100 power 86 angle guide where it will hit the edge of the circle.Īnd I'm fairly new, the game is addicting you kinda learn things pretty fast I've only got 7 hours played on the game.
